| Scope: | This project involved the demolition of the upper storey flats to existing shop units. It was imperative to keep the shop units watertight to facilitate trading whilst the flats were removed. This was achieved and a new pitched roof was constructed over the remaining units. The project required extremely close liaison with all the shop tenants and controlled programming to ensure the retail units were not affected during the works. We also demolished derelict retail units and living accommodation to create a recreation area adjacent to the refurbished shops. |
